Protecting What's Left | Wildest Ones - Episode 03

In this episode of Wildest Ones, we meet Ali Rajabali, a conservationist working with Lancashire Wildlife Trust, and hear how his connection to nature has shaped both his life and his work. Growing up in Tanzania, surrounded by some of the world’s most iconic wildlife, Ali developed a deep connection to the natural world from an early age. Now based in the North West of England, his work focuses on restoring peatlands and protecting the often overlooked species and habitats that are vital to our ecosystems.

This film explores the idea that the wild is not always something distant or dramatic, but something much closer to home. Through Ali’s story, we’re reminded that nature is all around us, and that protecting what’s left has never been more important. Wildest Ones is a short documentary series exploring the connection between nature, mental wellbeing and conservation through honest human stories.
